At San Francisco Community Health Center, “Queer Joy is Resistance” reflects the spirit of our work and community.
|
Pride has always been rooted in protest—against violence, neglect, and erasure—and in today’s climate, our joy is an act of survival and defiance.
We see it in everyday moments of care, dignity, and connection, at Trans:Thrive to the moment a shelter guest gets keys to their own home. This joy is fierce, collective, and healing. It is both our medicine and our movement.

San Francisco Community Health Center is honored to be named a 2025 SF Pride Marshal, a recognition we share with our staff, clients, allies, and all who believe in community-led care. We're proud to stand alongside this year’s incredible Grand Marshals, including our own Tita Aida and Jahnell Butler. Grounded in queer joy and liberation, we carry this honor with pride, resistance, and love—see you at Pride!

Frameline 49 — LGBTQ+ film festival!
|
The world is watching — and so are we. This year, we’re proud to co-present 4 films at #Frameline49:
- Trans Memoria
- Come See Me in the Good Light
- #300Letters
- Heightened Scrutiny (tickets are free for any of our trans, non-binary, genderqueer folks)
Get your tickets now for these special films and for 11 days of world-renowned queer films, singular performances, and must-attend parties. When you show up for queer and trans stories on screen, you’re showing up for the LGBTQ+ community’s past, present, and future. Explore more at frameline.org.

San Francisco Community Health Center celebrates and attends to the health and wellness of the communities that define San Francisco—immigrant and communities of color, queer, trans, unhoused people, and all of us who are most impacted by oppression—through comprehensive medical, dental, and mental health services. We believe that health care starts with healing justice and meeting the basic needs of our communities. Our culturally informed services are designed by the very people we serve.
