645 Larkin Street: API-Centered Programs Moving into Space Early April

At San Francisco Community Health Center, we are continuing to engage various community stakeholders around the future use of 645 Larkin St. We express our sincere gratitude to the merchants, community-based organizations, and concerned residents that have met with us thus far to share their thoughts and find ways for new (and continued) collaboration to achieve our shared goal of creating a stronger and healthier Tenderloin community.

We will be meeting with more stakeholders in the coming months and invite you to reach out! Feel free to utilize our inquiry form and someone from our outreach team will connect with you.

As part of our last update, we outlined our interim plan for the space, which included using 645 Larkin St. as an administrative and staff office for our community-based programs, particularly those serving the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) community and that address safety and wellness.

We are excited to announce that beginning in April 2024, staff across The Lotus Project, API Stop the Hate, and Project Circuit will be moving into the space! The presence of these programs in the Tenderloin and Little Saigon is crucial to our mission of meeting our community’s needs. And, in light of the number of closed storefronts on Larkin St., we believe that beautifying our building and keeping it open is in the best interest of our neighborhood.
